In a new Hollywood twist to the old dream of alchemy, Jessica Simpson has found a way to turn fat into money.
She tweeted recently that she is "so excited to be part of the Weight Watchers family" after signing a $4 million deal to lose the kilos she put on during pregnancy.
Simpson and husband Eric Johnson were obviously disappointed at the paltry $800,000 which they received for their first exclusive baby pictures, but have bounced back with this latest move, showing that there is no reason why the joys of parenthood shouldn't be turned into a nice little earner.
