Eurovision Song Contest 2013: Back on top?yours.ie • 16 may 2013
It used to be our patch, and we ruled supreme. We have won Eurovision more times and had more consecutive winners than any other country ever, but the last fifteen years have been a bit of a dry spell. So, after some attempts with a turkey that sings and two Jedwards who can't, can Ryan Dolan be the man who puts us back in the saddle?

The Voice of Ireland: Results of the fifth live showyours.ie • 15 april 2013
As so memorably proven by Fun in last year's UK X Factor, it's a good sign when the star guest performers are a little bit less interesting than the contestants themselves.
The Voice of Ireland - Results of the third live showyours.ie • 31 march 2013
Team Jamelia set the tone for tonight's show, letting rip with a cool cover of Anything Can Happen. As the numbers drop, the overall standard of performances is definitely improving, and a scoring rethink from the coaches has made that side of things a bit more interesting. As Kian said: "Tough love is the name of the game from now on".

All of the players in tonight's show seemed to be trying hard not to put a foot wrong, resulting in an evening almost entirely devoid of emotion of any kind.
The Voice of Ireland: first victims of the live showyours.ie • 17 march 2013
Things are hotting up in The Voice of Ireland this week, as the contestants and coaches - not to mention the makers of the show themselves - all come to grips with the challenges of live television. Bum notes are bummer, arguments are longer, and there is no tidying things up in the editing room, which makes for some great entertainment!

The last of the battles took place on last week's Voice of Ireland and parting for some, was such sweet sorrow! From next week onwards, it will be live shows all the way.
"I'll be writing the songs for the winners!"yours.ie • 4 march 2013
The third week of the battle stage in the Voice of Ireland showed the judges battling on with the dilemma over whether contestants should be trying to perform decent duets, or aurally punch eachother out of the ring. The result was a healthy mix of painful self-promotion punctuated by uplifting moments of musical harmony.

Kian still more impressed by Andy than Andy is by Kianyours.ie • 17 february 2013
It's battle time in the Voice of Ireland, and while the judges wheeled out their biggest guns in the form of world class assistants, the singers were able to show sides of themselves which we didn't get to see in the blind auditions. Some shone, some crashed and burned.
Desperation in the chairyours.ie • 10 february 2013
Today saw the final day of blind auditions in the Voice of Ireland, and there was no disguising the sense of desperation in some of the judges chairs as they struggled to fill the remaining spots on their teams.

It was week 5 of the blind auditions at The Voice of Ireland and the claws were most definitely out. Sharon and Jamelia in particular nearly came to blows over French ingénue Alexandra Miller.

Kian finally gets rolling, but Bressie takes first prizeyours.ie • 21 january 2013
Week 3 of the blind auditions, and the pressure is starting to show as the judges slowly realise how difficult it might be to find 12 great singers each. Much to our disappointment there was far less tension between the jury members, since Kian getting a few decent voices for his team seemed to ease his frustration. Jamelia had a quiet day, Sharon ploughed along steadily, but it was Bressie who grabbed the cream of the crop.
"Don't pick him because he's cute"yours.ie • 13 january 2013
Jamelia rules the roost, Sharon is getting desperate, Bressie gets the girls, and Kian grabs the leftovers.
